One platform for every ocean system.

OceanGrid is the connective layer for marine data — connect boats, buoys, rigs and third-party sensors through one clean API and webhooks, normalize it, and route it anywhere. Our solar sensor node is just one way in. Data as infrastructure.

OceanGrid buoy node

Connect anything.

OceanGrid is built as an open backbone — point your systems at it and go. Bring your own sensors, or deploy our gateway nodes; either way the data lands on one clean platform.

🔌 Ingest API
Push telemetry from any device or system with a scoped API key — /v1/ingest, /v1/telemetry.
🪝 Webhooks
Subscribe to events and get signed callbacks with retries — /v1/webhooks.
🧩 Connectors
Install pre-built connectors or register your own to pull third-party feeds — /v1/connectors.
🔑 Keys & tenancy
Per-org API keys, rotation, and isolation so every partner runs on the same backbone — /v1/api-keys.

Full API reference at /docs. Every event also flows to the Atlas vault — so the data lives forever.

One node, then a network.

Each buoy stands alone — but every one you add makes the grid smarter and more resilient.

1
1 buoy
Streams live sensor + GPS data to OceanGrid.
10
10 buoys
Form a lightweight mesh — packets hop node to node.
100
100 buoys
A decentralized network with no single point of failure.
Open grid
Third-party devices register via your API. All ocean data flows through you.

What every node does, every minute

Reads the environment, fixes its position, and broadcasts a lightweight packet — on sunlight alone.

Senses
Temperature, humidity, pressure and air quality from an onboard environmental sensor.
Locates
GPS position on every cycle, so you always know where each buoy is — and if it drifts.
Transmits
Packages it all into a tiny LoRa packet and sends it to nearby nodes or a gateway.

Simple, flat pricing

Flat monthly tiers — bring your own sensors or deploy our gateway nodes. Scale from a single research buoy to a global fleet.
